Şahin conducts academic research on defense diplomacy, defense industry policies, regional security, and geopolitics; her work has been published in various journals and platforms. She also presents her research at national and international conferences and shares her analyses with the public after covering events such as NATO summits, defense exhibitions, and security forums on-site. Combining academic scholarship with field observations, Asya Beyza Şahin examines the impact of defense technologies on international relations through an interdisciplinary lens and continues her research and assessments regarding the future of security policies. Şahin was also the youngest female parliamentary candidate for Kayseri during the 28th Term elections of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. She produces content for the "Asya ile Siyaset" (Politics with Asya) platform to raise awareness about the political participation and representation of women and youth, and she carries out public-facing initiatives regarding politics, democracy, and civic engagement.

Asya Beyza Şahin, who completed her undergraduate education in the field of Political Science and Public Administration, has been conducting research in the fields of international relations, diplomacy, security and defense studies since her undergraduate years. Currently, he continues his master's degree in the Department of International Security at the Institute of Security Sciences of the Police Academy and continues his academic studies in the axis of international security, defense industry, foreign policy and defense diplomacy. Women and Children's Rights Activist
Asya Beyza Şahin has grown up with the struggle for women's rights under the umbrella of the Kayseri Women's Association, which was founded by her late mother Melek Aysun Şahin in 2014 since her childhood. During his undergraduate education, he worked voluntarily in non-governmental organizations operating in the field of children's rights, especially LÖSEV and Kanka; he is still working as a Relations Coordinator with Public Institutions within the Association for Combating Child Abuse and Neglect (ÇIP).

He has carried out academic researches and field studies in the fields of gender equality, women's and children's rights; developed 2209 supported research projects by TÜBİTAK and participated in academic field studies within the Gnat Committee on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men (KEFEK).
